Silk's March 2009 Litter

Silk's exit litter finally arrived on March 8, 2009. We have 5 boys and 3 girls. Silk always produces perfect puppies and Chance has proven himself to be pretty much a wonderful producer as well. We are very pleased with the little angels. Silk is being the wonderful mom that she always is. We are accepting one more reservation for this litter. Please watch weekly to see them grow.

Silk will be retiring after this litter and assuming her rightful position as Chief Labradoodle Potentate in her forever home with us.

We can sum up Silk in a few words: class act, royalty, or Her Highness Princess Silk. She's not haughty or stuck up. She simply exudes a regal nature which is the true reflection of her inner self. Silk was the first addition to our breeding program and we are so lucky to have her. She is 17 inches tall and weighs 27 pounds. She exemplifies perfect conformation with her athletic body. Silk is intuitive, makes wonderful eye contact and has a very serious side though she can be very humorous as well. She earned her therapy dog certification without special training. She always seems to know what I am talking about. She has a soft wool coat which is apricot cream in color.

Chance is from Rosie's May 2007 litter with Tegan Park Neptune of Sierra Vista. He has the sweetest disposition, a very soft, very light cream colored fleece coat, and the most striking green eyes. Chance is 18 inches tall and weighs 35 pounds.

Xander is a gorgeous chocolate boy that will add new lines to our program. We are so excited about this mating. Xander comes from strong chocolate lines is fully health testing and has a dream temperament declares his mom at Ocean State Labradoodles. He is very well suited for our Scottie. Xander has a gorgeous wavy fleece coat, non shedding and is breed perfection. Both dogs have excellent pedigrees, health testing and Scottie is throwing awesome puppies. She has thrown the deepest chocolate pups we have had to date. She has some puppies that cafe out early and some that like herself exhibit the rare and very desirable parchment. Layla's Puppies Born May 7, 2009

Layla X Cole

Surprise! Layla's puppies were born a week early. No one was more surprised than us. She was scheduled to have an x-ray puppy count the next day. How many was she going to have? We had no clue. At the end of unexpected and long night Layla had given birth to 1 beautiful girl and 5 gorgeous boys. Mom and babies are doing great.

Cole and Layla's last litter together was stunning. Both Cole and Layla have gorgeous coats and wonderful, affectionate temperaments. They look great together too! I recently took them together to the vets and received non-stop questions and compliments from everyone that walked in the door.

Layla is from our beautiful Tegan Park Flame x Chicago Hershey Bar Kisses. She is 19 inches tall and weighs 45 pounds. Layla has a golden cream colored fleece coat and a rose nose. She is a loving girl and has her mother's sweet disposition and her father's comical and fun loving nature.

Cole is from our gorgeous Heartsong Natalie's Melody of Morning Smile. Natalie was named after Natalie Cole and we named Cole after his Mom to honor how we feel about her ~ unforgettable. Cole is everything we were searching for in a stud and we have waited a long time for him. He has perfect conformation, great temperament and a yummy golden/apricot colored coat. He is 19 inches tall and weighs 35 pounds.

Lacey's First Litter Born December 23, 2009

Lacey X Apache

Lacey gave birth to her first litter on December 23rd 2009. Lacey gave birth to one girl. She is doing very well and is growing quickly.

Heartsong Satin N' Lace is out of our gorgeous Heartsong Razzle Dazzle x Sunset Hills Spun Silk. She has matured to 14 inches and 15 pounds. She is a true miniature. She has a perfect fleece coat, saber tail, perfect conformation and a temperament that is fantastic. We expect colors and coats to be fantastic. We are expecting cream (apricot/gold) and black colors from this mating.

We chose Rutland Manor Apache (who lives in North Carolina with his guardian home and is owned by Jane Charlton of Australian Labradoodles USA) because he will be very complimentary to our girl. He is 17 inches and 24 pounds, has a gorgeous chocolate fleece coat. Both dogs are fully tested with excellent results. Apache has earned his Canine Good Citizen award. I have wanted to use him since Jane received him from Australia in 2006. Thank You Jane for making this boy available.

We received extraordinary interest in this mating and we are planning to place Lacey's puppy in a breeding program. We have exciting matings planned for this year. Mattie will have her first litter early this year, and Layla will have her final litter. Later in the year, Sufi will have her first litter, and Lacey and Pearl will have their second litters. We will post more information as we chose sires and as nature reveals more about dates.

Pearl's First Litter Born December 24th, 2009

Pearl X Gunner

Pearl gave birth to her first litter on December 24th 2009. She gave birth to two boys. Mom and puppies are doing very well and the puppies are growing quickly.

We have waited a long time for this girl. She is from our beautiful Ruby and we have great expectations for her. She is gentle and inquisitive like her mom and her grandmother ~ Flame. She smiles a lot and gets a long with all the other dogs. Pearl has perfect conformation and a really nice curly fleece coat. Her gentle spirit will make her a wonderful mom. Check out our Hall of Fame to see her mom and her maternal grandmother. Her dad is Sir William Conner who is from very old Australian lines blended with complementary lines. We are very excited to see what Pearl will produce for us.

Hales Best Super Nova, Gunner, has a wonderful fleece coat, excellent health scores and will be a very complimentary stud for our gorgeous Pearl. Gunner is 17 inches tall, weighs 30 pounds and Rochelle describes him: "Gunner is a gentle and sweet little boy with amazing red fleece coat. Ultra silky and stunning color! Gunner's conformation is outstanding and he has a wonderfully thick bone structure". Gunner is owned and loved by Spring Creek Labradoodles. Thank you Rochelle for sharing this boy with us.

We received extraordinary interest in this mating and all puppies are spoken for. We have exciting matings planned for this year. Mattie will have her first litter early this year, and Layla will have her final litter. Later in the year, Sufi will have her first litter, and Lacey and Pearl will have their second litters.
